Stroll for Stories

Laps for the Library, Hike for History, Exercise for Energy, Stroll for Stories:

Many names, one fun event!

You are invited to take a beautiful two mile stroll around Bradford that starts at the Old Church Theater. Follow the “trail” to the Bradford Public Library for refreshments and prizes and then stroll back to the Old Church Theater.

The Stroll is a self guided tour of historic Bradford with points of interest and stories along the way. All walkers are asked to get pledges or donate $5, $10 per family to support the programs and events at Bradford Public Library. Please visit www.bradfordvtlibrary.org for more information on upcoming events, including computer training on digital photography, downloading audio books, and social networking. This November, you are invited to share ideas with a three-session environmental book discussion titled “Earth Tones” from Vermont Humanities Council.

Bradford Public Library encourages you to step outside the constant buy and throw away syndrome and use your library: the ultimate community conservation measure. Stop in, have a cup of tea, and browse all the fabulous books on display and in the stacks.
